Somewhere along the way, collecting the cards we grew up loving started to feel out of reach. Prices climb, packs vanish in seconds, and the shelves are picked clean before most of us get a look. Kids can't afford the chase, and the grown-ups who started it all get priced out of their own childhood.

Holobrook is a small attempt to give that feeling back. The thrill of tearing open a fresh pack. The gasp when the foil catches the light. The joy of finally pulling the one you've been hunting. No scalpers, no sold-out signs, no second mortgage. Just you, a booster, and the magic of the reveal.

Holobrook is a free, browser-based trading card pack opening simulator. Tear into real booster packs, chase the holos and rare cards you love, and build a growing digital collection, with no account, no downloads, and nothing to install. Your binder saves right in your browser.

How Holobrook works

  1. Open booster packs with realistic, community-approximated pull rates across dozens of real card sets.
  2. Keep the cards you love in your digital binder, or dust the rest into currency you can spend.
  3. Fill your Living Pokédex and complete master sets as your collection grows.
  4. Spend dust in the daily Card Shop, chase a grail, grade your best pulls, and level up.
  5. Come back each day for fresh packs, a restocked shop, daily quests and a growing streak.

Is Holobrook free?
Yes, completely. There is no signup, no download, and nothing to buy. Everything runs in your browser and your collection saves locally.
Do I need an account?
No. Your trainer, binder, and progress live in your browser. You can back them up any time from Settings.
How many cards are in a booster pack?
Around ten, depending on the era. Each pack is built from real slot structures, several commons, a few uncommons, a reverse-holo, and a rare-or-better "hit" slot, matching how packs of that era are actually laid out.
Are duplicate cards normal?
Completely. Across the packs in a box you'll pull the same commons and uncommons often, which is exactly why collectors trade and why Holobrook lets you dust extras into currency. Chasing one specific card usually means opening plenty of packs.
How accurate are the cards and pull rates?
Card names, images, sets and market values come from the community-maintained pokemontcg.io database, so card identity and approximate prices are quite accurate. Pull rates are different: official odds aren't published for most products, so ours are community-approximated estimates, not official numbers, kept fully transparent on the Pull rates page.
Is this an official product?
No. Holobrook is an independent fan project for entertainment, not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo or The Pokémon Company.
